「88人の社交的飲酒家(party等でのみ飲酒する人)に単語を覚えるタスクを与えました。その後ランダムに好きなだけ飲んで良いグループ(4杯程度まで)と全く飲まないグループとに分けました」
なので、"飲んだ後に言葉を記憶するタスクを行ってもらった"なんてのは超誤訳。
「タスクを行って貰った後、飲む・飲まない2つのグループに分けて、翌日同じタスクをしたところ飲んだ方が勝った」という話でしょ。
